Do you spend too much time with people who just have nothing good to say about you? Even worse, are these people the closest people to you in your life? Family members? Friends? Co-Workers? It's always easy to give others an opinion that you don't know shit about and seemingly even easier when you ain't doing shit yourself. These words have the ability to cripple and stifle our dreams and goals, especially when we give them the power to. This is very dangerous for our growth and aspirations, being around this constant negative energy that feeds into our already sensitive and fragile self-doubt and motivation mechanisms. Take the power back. Tell them to fuck off.... with love of course!

Your word is your worth. I talk about the power of words and your choices in this episode while paying homage to the incredible and mystical book, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. If we only knew the power of our thoughts and words, we would choose and use them much more carefully. This could change your life and very easily too as it is often easiest to just change our vocabulary than it is our habits and thought patterns, which require more conditioning reversal.
Begin to change your life by beginning with changing your vocabulary. This is the basis of neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).

This episode touches on what I believe to be one of the most critical issues in men's mental health. Instability with emotional regulation and anger can often get ugly when left untreated and much of domestic abuse and public acts of violence (sometimes extreme) are deeply rooted in the wounded masculine. How can we begin to regulate our emotions better and move from more of a reactive/triggered state to a more proactive mindset? This is literally a matter of life and death.
If you are a victim or a perpetrator of violent outbursts or extreme bouts of moodiness due to lack of emotional regulation, speak to someone and seek help immediately. It's the noble thing to do. As men we need to protect those around us even if it means protecting them from ourselves.

We're always told to break out of our comfort zone and to keep pushing our limits. Although this is great, it sounds f'n exhausting. I think comfort gets a bad rep. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with comfort, but what if we could get comfortable being uncomfortable? I introduce the concept of expanding our comfort zone instead of continually having to push ourselves to jump out of our comfort zone. Perhaps it's the same thing but I'm a big believer of re-framing our thought patterns to live a fulfilling and meaningful life of ease and flow.

Discipline is a dying art in today's modern world of instant gratification. Discipline however is highly regarded as a pillar of divine masculinity and should be observed as such. I go through my own struggles with discipline but share some new techniques that I've picked up lately to keep you on top of your game by breaking bad habits and replacing them with better and most importantly more long lasting and committed habits.
